Maria-Theresia Blazek in Luberegg Castle

Maria-Theresia Blazek

Maria-Theresia Blazek (née Pichler) runs the Schüttkasten Geras – a historic hotel gem in the Waldviertel – with a keen sense for atmosphere, quality and personal commitment.

As part of the Pichler host family, it complements the portfolio of Schloss Luberegg 1787 and the Donauhof with a place of unique tranquility, history and Waldviertel authenticity.

Originally built as a monastic outbuilding for Geras Abbey, the Schüttkasten (little house) looks back on centuries of history. Today, it is a refuge for people who want to experience the authenticity, deep roots, and quiet power of the Waldviertel region.

With an eye for the essential, a sense of beauty, and a heart in the right place, Maria-Theresia creates a place where historical depth, genuine hospitality, and the natural power of the region come together in a special way.
